The HANALEI FINS website has been given a fresh coat of paint!

As part of this effort, we are also trying to provide more information about our fins and, in particular, how they are categorized.

The categories on the site are—Versatile, Performance, Specialty, and Custom.

Each of these categories is further classified by color, where the color will match those of the fins within the category. The idea is to make it easier to identify different types of fins in our range. Here are these colors: Versatile - RED, Performance - MANGO, and Specialty - CLOVER.

All the fins in each of these categories can be purchased directly within the fin descriptions.

The Custom fins have been moved to their own dedicated website, so that category on the HANALEI FINS site is merely a passthrough to the new site. This site is also under a different name—MAIRFOILS. This new site has been designed to make all of the custom fin designs, as well as all the HANALEI FINS templates, more accessible. Any design can be ordered from this site.

The GENERAL section contains all of the technical information, such as layout guides and any other information pertinent to our fins. This section is where you will also find this blog, clothing store, and more.

A brand new Blog has been added to the site and replaces the original one. We are attempting to bring some of the original posts over to the new blog, but this will be a slow, ongoing process. We will only bring over posts we feel are still relevant.

The MAIRFOILS site will also feature a Blog, and it will mirror the content from the HANALEI FINS blog so that posts can be read from either location. Some posts, such as business-specific announcements, will be site-specific.

Note: All the fins on the site are now CNC-machined from solid fiberglass; there are no longer any HRD-KORE fins.

As we bring new production fins online, they will be added to the appropriate categories on the new site, so that it is always current and up to date. This has taken a significant effort to put together, but it will serve the business well and allow us to move forward. As part of the effort, we also moved to a new e-commerce provider to try and smooth out the purchasing process.
