We are changing up some of our standard colors as we are moving to a new supplier. The first color to change is the MANGO color. The new color (as shown) is a little more vibrant and orange. Looks darn good to us.
The other big change with these new panels is that they are moving to a different lamination schedule. This new schedule makes them stronger and a lot cleaner-looking once foiled. These new panels are now going to be made with 6 oz. cloth, as opposed to 7.5 oz. This translates to 50 layers of glass for our standard thickness. This means we are getting panels that are closer to G10 in fiber density.
The fin shown is the first set to be foiled, and it is a spectacular-looking fin. It is shown with a GBOX base as opposed to our older GEARBOX base. We don't need a cutout on the GBOX fins, as there is no bridge in the box; we use a small one to reduce a little weight.
The other colors are going to be RED and CLEAR; we'll post them as soon as we have a set of fins made from them. We will eventually add BLACK, WHITE, and CLOVER to match the production colors we use.
We are still waiting for the RED and CLEAR to arrive, so it will be awhile before we can post those colors.
